About ME
My name’s Josh — and this all started as a personal creed before it became a brand.
I was already living it. Training. Writing. Pushing myself through the days when motivation was gone and discipline was all I had. One day I realized maybe what I was building for myself could help others too — not by preaching, but by showing the work.
#THERIVALISME isn’t about anyone else.
It’s about the rival inside — the lazy, distracted version of ourselves that we fight every day. Every rep, every word, every product here is a reminder that the battle is personal, and the only way to win it is with discipline first.
The Logo
The Symbol- a sword sheathed - represents controlled strength.
It’s sharp, but it’s disciplined. Ready, but restrained. The sword itself is shaped from the initials of The Rival Is Me, merged into one mark — meaning the fight and the weapon are the same.
There’s deeper symbolism hidden in it for those who look closer: balance between creation and destruction, the union of action and patience, the edge of discipline and the stillness that holds it. The blade stays sheathed because true power doesn’t need to prove itself.
My mission is simple.
To build Sanctuary — a self-sustained place where faith, family, and freedom are the foundation.
Not to run from the world, but to get closer to God and what’s real.
Every dollar that comes through this brand helps move that mission forward — piece by piece, brick by brick. Because the mission doesn’t end when Sanctuary is built.
That’s when it starts.
Once it’s real, I’ll teach what I’ve learned — how to live with discipline, stay grounded in faith, and build a life that sustains itself.
This brand isn’t for show.
It’s a reminder: the rival is real, the work is daily, and the goal is freedom.
Discipline first — always.
